Anyone got any good recommendations as I'm not going to be able to get to R Tech :-(
It's for my mk4 golf k04 :-)

R Teck will come to you.. Ask for Ben....They charge a £40 call out charge but if they have a few people in your area they need to see, they may not charge you...

Plan was to have it all ready in 2 weeks but at the moment I can't see it haha
Think I might just take it to r tech as they seem to have good reviews !!

Another thumbs up from me!! Worth making the trip pal..

Dont know if they do anything with KO4's but give the guys at Carbon Chiptuning a shout, great guys and highly recommended from me and others on here

Don't think carbon are taking on any internal work for 3 months see mapping section. Doing mobile work but no good if fitted k04 and req custom map. Ring carbon see if they can tho but r-tech wicked.

Forgive my naivety but if for example you get a "revo" remap does it matter who does it, I mean isnt it software after all so in theory it should be the same wherever you go?
Im based in Preston and looking into a remap theres a company here called http://www.automotivediagnostics.co.uk/ who use revo maps.
One thing I dont understand is (its for a gtd) some claim to give 210bhp and others 201bhp Im a bit confused, who to go with would rather go via a recommended source for peace of mind.

If you want your GTD done contact Carbon; Craig runs a GTD which has been finely tuned on their rolling road  and they have all the equipment to perform the surgery on your ECU as its protected and requires removal in order to remap it
