Hi, all great forum

I own a 96 mk3 gti 8v, and need to change the Manifold gasket!!!
anyone know the best way to do it?

But ya dont say which manifold?

Suggest you post in the Garage section or the Mk 3 Section mate, good knowledgable people here!

depending on gasket..ul either hav to remove your front exhaust pipe and/or,if its the other gasket,your exhaust manifold..if ive got that right.. :undecided: sure ill b corrected..

my book states that(n no it aint a haynes manual) so thats wot i wrote...so stop being a pillock..thats it..not helpin no more..feck the lot o ya!toys outta pram..

m8 if it really is the manifold gasket and not the downpipe gasket its an ass 2 do... you have to take off the inlet manifold etc and then the downpipe then remove the manifold replace all the gaskets which are seperate and then put a new inlet gasket on before refitting

lol Dinx, that's not what I meant, kings wondered why mods were not bantering about the mk3 8v and I was stating that I/we should let him get his feet under the table before taking the p1ss.  :laugh: :laugh:
