I own a 96 mk3 gti 8v, and need to change the Manifold gasket!!!
anyone know the best way to do it?

depending on gasket..ul either hav to remove your front exhaust pipe and/or,if its the other gasket,your exhaust manifold..if ive got that right.. :undecided: sure ill b corrected..

my book states that(n no it aint a haynes manual) so thats wot i wrote...so stop being a pillock..thats it..not helpin no more..feck the lot o ya!toys outta pram..

Post by: kingsmk2 on 09 June 2005, 16:10: m8 if it really is the manifold gasket and not the downpipe gasket its an ass 2 do... you have to take off the inlet manifold etc and then the downpipe then remove the manifold replace all the gaskets which are seperate and then put a new inlet gasket on before refitting
