Right guys, yesterday i fitted new front wishbones and balljoints to my mk4 turbo then dropped it on a full set of FK street coilovers. I went for a test drive and it's great other than when i put my foot down it pulls quite harshly to the left and when i let off it straightens up again but does'nt clunk or anything and it brakes perfectly straight, Could this be just simply a tracking problem or is it serious???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Get it tracked and then go from there

^^+1
Just gonna have to I through the process of elimination, start with the simple things like tracking and check everything is nice and tight, tyre pressures?, then things like engine mounts etc
Could well be your trackin as you have had the bottom ball joint and wishbones disconnected you are lucky of you get them in exactly the same Place again.
Let us know how you get on

Cheers guys, I'll get it tracked today and let you know the verdict. You say about the engine mounts?? there does seem to be a good engine wobble when i start it up, can i get an engine stabilizer bar like what the jap drift lads do??
-
The reason I say the engine mounts is that worn /soft rubbe in the mounts can cause torque steer (not necessarily pull, but worth checking if the tracking doesn't sort it)
I don't know about a engine stabiliser but you can get uprated mount from ths etc.

No probs, going the garage now see if tracking sorts it.

Just had my tracking done and it still torque steers, also just seen that my anti roll bar is 2mm off the drivers side drive shaft lol.

Get a Audi s3 front arb, depending how low u are or how low you want to go

Ok mate well check all your tyre pressures and then check your engine mounts,
And as Toby said gettin a s3 or tt Front arb which goes under the driveshaft will eliminate the problem of any driveshaft rubbing.

I spoke to psi tuning today and they said that a s3 or tt arb won't work on my car bevause i have FK coilovers which don't have the drop link mount on them. They said i need an eibach arb with a larger hoop for £150 but i have seen a JOM arb on ebay for £94 which states it is for lowered cars to prevent drive shaft rubbing but i don't know which way to go now lol. PS golfyste i've had tracking and tyre pressures done this morning and my engine mounts are fine. psi mentioned about 4 wheel tracking rather than just front, would that work do ya think??

Did it pull before you did the wishbones??
As if it did it before it could be many things including uneven tyre wear, rear beam bushes, wheel bearings etc, you could try swapping your front and rear tyres??
As for the anti roll bar, you can fit a s3/tt one its just you would have to buy adjustable drop links and modify them to fit rather then just bolting them on but its does give more clearance than the eibach/JOM over driveshaft ones.

Most cars torque steer when they have a reasonable amount of power, are you holding the wheel or just letting go of it and flooring it?
