Title: Air Con - Cool but not cold

The air con in my 16V MK3 GTI doesn't seem to be as cold as it was last year. I've never experienced this before in any car I've owned so don't know what to do. Can't you get the air con "recharged" or something like that?

Sorry for not having a clue what I'm talking about here but any help or advice would be much appreciated.

alrite mate ye think you can get them regassed for 30-40 quid and a service is about 75-80 iirc,brett

Avoid the likes of Kwik fit, find a specialist who will leak test it as a first step.

Most of the specialists are mobile so will come out to your car while at work.
Check Yell.com for a company near you.
