How hard is it to fit the splitter? Cos i like that!

I am after that exact splitter!
-
I don't think it's what hard to fit, thinks there's some cutting involved and then screwing it too the bumper.

I just went to Top Gear's main head office depot and picked up 4 T1Rs for £230. 195/45/16s.
They are a brilliant dealer but cheaper to buy from their eBay store for sure.

Whoops, I've removed that now. I'm tired.
-
hey i don't live far from that top gear place it seems, so ill go check it out.
-
They do seem good, ordered these tyres yesterday morning, got home today and they were here. It does say on there eBay shop that there depots might charge more then eBay listings
-
They are really friendly in there and I was speaking to one of the guys there, he said most people tend to get T1Rs from them as they buy containers worth of them on a regular basis always keeping stock. I said I usually buy them from Camskill and he mentioned that's their main competitor.
Worth ringing in advance just to check they have them in stock before going but mention their Eva price and they will give you then at that price rather than the site price.
-
I got my lenso bsx from topgear brand new with tyres for my black mk3 and they knocked off £150 over the phone for me as I was haggling with them.
-
how much are you gonna pay to get them fitted? I got 4 t1r's 194/45/16 fitted and balanced for around £270
-

I'm nut sure how much fittings gunna cost, I'm budgeting for £10 a wheel
I'm gunna have a play with the splitter n see if I like it
-
£10 a wheel would put me on par with what you paid then so at least I know I got a good deal :)

The garage I get my tyres fitted at charges £10 per wheel so that's about right mate.

I got your pm, I am trying to persuade the missus at the moment, she has the hump with me for bidding on a Mk2 Astra Gte...
If you go for fitting it, please let us know how that goes for you. (As in...how much work does it take, is it a straight fit or does it require a fettling job etc.)

Think it'll look better on the car with the coloured bumper, and as I said in the thread I'm not cutting up the bumper so I can still run an oem splitter if I don't like this one.
