I have heard, and some of my friends put jet fuel it in their diesel. Apparently it is good at cleaning out injectors and generally doing good for the engine. The cars I speak of are ok 97/98/99 years diesels...Now would it be beneficial for me to put a we drop into a full tank of my 02 plate PD engine? Would this be the same as putting a dash of 2 stroke in with diesel?
Cheers people

Not quite the helpful answers I was looking for...
Chuff...you must have had some experience with this?
Anyone at all?

I've used it in the past to clean out injectors to get a vehicle to pass an emission test, but I wouldn't recommend using it for a prolonged amount of time, as it has next to no lubricating qualities like Derv.
Tight git!
Just rob the fuel from all of your GSE at work,as no-one gives a monkeys about them!

So you would/could use it as an additive, like redex, rather than using it all the time? I thought that as it had no lubricating properties that was a good thing as it 'cleaned' out the entire engine?
What does all the GSE run on? I just make a phone call when it empty!

Parts of your fuel system still require lubricating, like high pressure fuel pumps, injectors etc.

Nope, you need a form of lubrication, otherwise you'll eff up the fuel pump, like US aviation fuel JP8 does to just about everything the UK military use when working with the Yanks . A fuel additive normally means you use them often, but I've only used about 5ltrs in a 3/4 full tank (70-100ltr tank) as a one-off just to stop excessive smoke. And for you to 'clean' out the entire engine, you would need more tools than your tool store has!!
