Title: Front Seat Issue's !
Post by: Itteh on 23 May 2012, 00:44: What Tools Do I Need.....To Take Out Both Front Seats Of My Mk3 Golf 3 Door Hatchback... I know i need star screw driver set, such as the T something, but i dont know which one. I want to give the car a very very good clean.

Any Ideas ?

Post by: Dan_GTi8v on 23 May 2012, 05:34: no tools are needed to remove the front or rear seats, fronts slide them all the way back remove the pin that holds them to the mount on the front then slide them all the way forward until they come out of the track

not too sure tbh, by the time i get home, its going to be too late to try it.

Iv got the last model on a 1997/98 R reg, is that the nut and bolt version ?

My 1996 had a nut and bolt, maybe some did :undecided:
