Does anyone know the max size of wheels you can fit to a MK3 GTI?

before or after arch mods?? ive seen 18" no probs 19" is getting tighter.... what size do u want?

Before any mods, i would be looking at 17" so i think they would be no probs?

17's went on mine lowered no probs.

Had to make a big mod though....removed the front mudflaps! 

Reckon 18" would be pretty easy to fit too, would require some minor 'fettling', but would destroy the perfect handling of the mk 3  :smiley:

Nope wouldnt want to destrtoy the great handling!!! 18" i think would be a bit too much. I just hav VR6 BBS Alloys on it at the moment,

Mines still got the mud flaps with 17"?!  :undecided:
