Title: Ed35 mirror covers

Hi everyone sum twit hit my mirror off on car yesterday  :cry: and the car following went straight over it. Does any one know if the black mirrors on the 35 come already gloss black our is it a trip to body shop and small fortune for the cyclist to fork out before I snap his neck

I was down for rest of day, vw Bristol telling me I got to get it painted as there sure it only comes in primer

Yes there quite expensive, but I think they can be purchased singley...well I think so!

Could be those. Looks like approx £85 each depending on dealer mark up I assume

The black pearl affect has glitter in the paint where as mine is straight black, but wait till u here this! The place in Bristol where the mirror is being sprayed is called dentmajic these guys have 2 edition 35s as there company cars, one white and one black, the black model has no black gloss mirrors they are the same as bodywork witch has flake in paint, I found this out today when my mirror cap was put next theres. And vw Bristol insist they only come primer silver our the black pearl u just said bout.

I asked at my dealer today cos I want to put black caps on my mrs can and they said they only come primed?

They seem to be telling the truth. I've got ETKA open in front of me and I can only see primed, reflex silver (metallic) or deep black (pearl). Do you have a part number off the damaged cover?

Yes I left it with the bodyshop I'm hopefully collecting it Tommorw. I hope it's perfect match there is a paint code on back I think
