Title: information about a car?

Hi guys, recently bought my mk2 golf, just wondering where i can get any useful information about the car at all? like what spec it should actually be and so forth, its a mk2 gti 8v first registered in 18/08/1989

log book/service history should have the codes for any optional extras i belive.

Have a look in the boot for the factory sticker too - that'll show the codes mentioned above if it is still there.

ah right ok then, know what sticker u mean as i stick them in all our seats lol
