Is air intake & carburettor cleaner ok to use to clean the inter cooler? as I have got my OEM intercooler of and poured all the oil and muck out of it
-
whilst my front end was stripped i sprayed degreaser in and jetwashed it all out then left out to dry no problems
-
I used acetone on my old Forge but I don't recommend it on a standard one as you'll melt the seals lol
-
i accidently left a rear vw in a pot of acetone forgot bout it until next day :lipsrsealed: no more rear badge
-
Best method is to buy intercooler flush and leave it to soak in there for a while.
-
on the passat i just filled mine up with gun wash and shook it then tiped it out, lots of mank came out and no problems
-
I poured petrol I'm mine and shook it about a bit
