m8 pull the trumpet out its quite tightly in there though... and i actually cut a whole section out of my old one on the wing sidejust use your comon sense and keep it below the filter when its in the box and remove the plastic trim panel in the wing aswell to increase airflow to the box
-
what the plastic trim pannel? the bit on the front of the air box?

stage 1 complete!!

I just drilled holes all over mine at least 30 or so anyway...
But mines a mk3 box so it prob needs thousands of holes anyway..

Get a K&n Panel filter too, if you havn't already. I also put some gauze inside the box, just to stop bits of leaf or any other junk getting onto the face of the filter.
-
Shoot it with a shot-gun from a distance to get maximum effect
-
did u locate the trim in the wing???
-
did u locate the trim in the wing???
yeah i got it cheers, a square shaped panel clipped in to the inside of the wing, what about the plastic trim that sits directly behind the drivers side headlamp? can that come out?
-
it can but it will leave wiring exposed and could cause issues but its upto you m8
-
think i'll keep it then, don't want problems i can't fix!
-
only trouble with these free mods is they don't work out to be free, you can watch the needle go down as you listen to that new noise!!
