Title: Slightly different Dub Ride

Hi folks, thought I'd post this up on here as I suspect a few of you might appreciate it.

Anyway, I purchased this set of wheels a good few years ago with the intention very much of using it as a daily. It has certainly lived up to it's role but it's taken a bit of a beating along the way. As summer approached I thought about letting it go for something newer and with less miles but, well... it's like a bit of the furniture now  :grin:.

So having made my mind up that it was staying, I decided that some serious TLC was in order and perhaps a full restoration/ modernisation to bring back the enjoyment. Since my time is split between it and my Mk6 GTI, I had the idea of incorporating some of the Mk6 styling cues into the project.

I'm pleased to say that this week the work was finally completed  :smiley:

I'm absolutely over the moon and have already taken it for a good spin  :laugh:.

Anyway, here's what you've been waiting for. The pics.

Yes, I've re-trimmed my office chair in Mk6 Jacara Tartan.   :grin:

EDIT: Apologies for the less than decent picture quality. Didn't realise it was so bad until I uploaded it  :sad:.
