I would just like to say hi as i recently swapped my volvo v40 for a 2000 1.8t tuned to 190Bhp.
First ever VW but must say very impresssed.

My volvo was 13psi standard and was safe to run at 19 with no mods. This VW is quick but still feels slow. Loving the feel of the car though and the look.
Looking at buying a few bits but its got the main parts done...18" wheels, skirts, re-map, forge recirc valve, pipercross venom induction kit,

Best bit is i only paid £300 for my volvo and spent £450 changing engine so i pretty much got my MK4 golf for £800... With 34,000 miles less than the volvo..... HAPPY DAYS
