Title: 1.8t wiring, have searched, lots of old posts and options
Post by: CJA321 on 17 May 2012, 22:31
Basicly as title. Engine iv bought is cable throttle as far as im aware, so that sorts one problem. However, iv searched all over and seeing no real answer for the wiring and managemant. Qpeng seems a total rip off and hell of alotta money...

So what i want to find out is there anyway of modding the 1.8t loom to fit the mk3 fusebox?

Does the mk3 fusebox even support the mk4 harness and ecu?

Is it easier to just fit the mk4 fusebox and just mod the mk3 loom for ancilaries?

I have transponder and ign barell etc included also in sale.

Apologies for the many questions but want to make sure i get this right and have all the parts i need when i pick this engine up.

Yes just mod the loom, look at the link I posted it tells you everything mk2 ce2 fusebox is the same as the mk3
