Title: Brake set up question
Post by: murraymint on 17 May 2012, 19:26
Firstly, will mk3 16v brake callipers fit on g60 carriers? And would the carriers fit onto a 1.6 mk3.

I'm looking to up grade my brakes but wanting to stay 4 stud.

And also what 4 stud disc set up is best for the rear brakes?

Cheers
Josh

G60 is 280mm and 16v is 288mm. Not sure if calipers fit the carriers.

Would 8v mk3 callipers fit?

Pre 95 8v's had 280mm brakes so they should. However I'm not 100% sure if the 16v calipers or even the 8v ones may fit, so wait for someone to confirm.

Could I run 8v brake callipers and carriers but use g60 4 stud discs?
