Hopefully some of you Aldi folk can help!?, my brother just spent a fortune on a 3 year old A3 S-Line in what I believe is Violet Purple. He's had the car for 3 weeks, and some nice fellow has gone and keyed it all the way from the rear quarter to the wing mirror down to the primer. I've had a look and the paint code is not on the sticker or logbook. (Paint Code --/-- on it). Having Googled it, I have come across threads on other forums (R8 forum mostly) stating its some ultra-secret Audi paint that they mix up in required quantities at the factory before giving it out! Anyone have any idea, or know any truth of this so I can sort of advise him on what to do? (He's not very savvy with these sort of things!)
Cheers!

Phone dealer parts dept, give them the reg, and ask for the paint code... I have a feeling it may be the same colour as my mates wife's TT, ATM paint pigments are unobtainable, because the quarry where its mined, is in close proximity to the f**kashima nuclear plant in Japan!
