Worth every penny, work out how much a cheapo 1.8t conversion will cost you and factor that in let alone doing it to a high std like Brads.
Mk3's are cheap as chips but all the bits and work done on this cost £££££, if its as good as it looks then to me its a bargain and a great place to start.......

You won't get something of that quality with ebay £160 coilovers and Halfords spray paint.... Very special.

I reckon some small town early-50s bank manager type with a wallet bigger than his fat soft belly will have it.

lol!!^^

trust me that is worth it, if the swap was done to a decent standard then it is defo worth it, look at it this way to get that swap done properly! without all the extras the guys done to his from a reputable place like lets say Storm Developments your looking at i would reckon atleast £5500 just for the engine and all the bits and labour to get it in!

It looks to be a good quality conversion with some nice touches.

Looks tight but you might even get a turbo or a blower in there to give it your own personal touch
Even without forced induction you will have trouble avoiding the local tree's and ditches

It does look like it has had some serious loving and he reckons he's spent £21,000 on it over the past 9 years!!! and the modified parts list does appear to be quite extensive BUT it's still almost £6000 for an almost standard looking mk3 Golf and some of the outer styling touches really aren't to my taste eg. headlights, indicators, painted front splitter, painted tyre logos and ghey stickers. Nothing major in all fairness but if i was spending that kinda of money on a mk3 Id want something special on the outside as well as under the bonnet.

I get the feeling the present owner is hoping someone will understand it and buy it to move it on to the next level, i hope it goes to a worthy home.
