Title: dubmiester pressed plates
Post by: mush on 14 May 2012, 10:26
works coming on with the golf now

i had my mrs help me fit a new boot lid yesterday as the old one had rusted near the bottom of the number plate. wasn't to bad fitting a new one just have the wiring left to do now

so with a new boot lid the old number plate looks dog, i was thinking of going for some dubmiester pressed plates (road legal ones) <<<<<are these really road legal?

wanted some german ones however i don't want the police stopping me every 5 mins.

with the plates i defiantly wanted some surrounds with the vw logo things on.

I've checked delivery with them and its says they are closed for a month <<for some reason, can
anyone recommend anywhere else i can get some?.

cheers

The dubmeister ones are legal but only in the proper UK format which will need you provide identification when purchasing. You can get plates of ebay but not sure of their legality as I have only ever bought them from dubmeister. You can get good surrounds from awesome-gti.co.uk and i'm sure this forum shop sell them also. But yes looks like dubmeister are closed till the end of the month.
