Title: what exhaust fits the 1.8adz

Gets guys I'm a bit of a pest on here honestly I do use the search button !

So I've got a 96 1.8se adv and would like an exhaust system either back box or cat back . Just wanted to know does the 8v system fit as a back box and does a 8v cat back pipe fit or cat deletion pipe ?

You can fit any thing with I bit of know how and a welder lol :laugh:

Check the classifieds, there's a pretty decent Magnex back box and deletion pipe for sale!!!!!! £70!!

Not loud mate, sounds good, quite subtle...

Oh really ? i thought the 8V GTi had the same exhaust bore diamater as the 1.8and 1.6 ect and the 16V and VR had the larger pipe size

99% correct.... the 1.8 uses same bore as the 8v gti (1.6 is the same as a 1.4) :smiley:

and if you change the cat back connector piece (timax and bosal use) they all fit each other
