Title: Spring & Shock recommendations and pictures
Post by: Lewisf1988-DUB on 13 May 2012, 19:05
Good evening gents, looking to swap put my current coilovers for shocks and springs as they are now crashing really bad and are seized :(.  My reasons for wanting a spring and shock setup is that we are expecting our first child and the rules layed down by the missus is that I can keep the car but it must have a smoother ride and be a sensible height haha. I'm going to be running my 18" bbs lm reps on the car once I have sorted out the lips a bit. Basically looking for opinions of ones that people have on there cars and even better if they have 18" wheels!  Pictures would be great also so I get an idea of ride height too!

Thanks for any replies in advance :)

Not low but not too high either and the ride is great, ideal compromise

Eibach pro springs are just as comfortable as standard springs imo, i ran them for a few months but they weren't low enough for me so i went down -40mm on Koni springs.

Mine will be for sale soon...

KW do a kit with 40mm drop for around £400 on Demon Tweeks. I've been so tempted by it many times
