Title: Which single DIN fascia/tray? As these look different.

Notice the Dynamic Sounds tray looks empty - so you could put stuff in it.

Look at the Autoleads one ... Looks like there's all sort of plasticy obstacles in there to stop you from putting stuff in the tray.

Is it just a bad picture, or is the Autoleads one a poor unit & it'd be better to buy the Dynamic Sounds one?

Because it's an extra £3.60 but more importantly - looking at the photo it looks tatty as hell.

& the other ones better work. They're advertised as working & the dynamic sounds one has now been bought.

it was just one to show the oem i linked the first I could find. My thinking was at least the oem one be a perfect fit.

personally i would just go to a scrappy and get a genuine one those two will NEVER fit as well as a genuine one

gm8 - i know, but i actually searched for an OE one & they're all either 1) silly overpriced or 2) tatty as hell.

Scrap yard isn't really an option either due to working hours.

Just hope the one bought does the job well enough.

Oem one.  Even better get a Polo one (do a search on mkivs) because that way you can have the head unit at the top where you can see/reach it.  Cupholders do foul it there however.

i have brought the one off ebay. im going to mount my stereo at the bottom so i can use my usb stick still.

i like to have a can and a place for my sweets too  :smiley:
