I quite like these social 'snapshot' type things as long as they are not just an excuse to get an e-mail address off you but i saw this one on the 'click' program on bbc1 this morning so figure it must be fairly legit.

If you look at the website, it's got the backing of Richard Branson and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Not to mention the sponsor is Ericsson and lots of major photography magazines are partnering:
