Title: rear arch to sidewall diference help!!

Hi just put some ronal turbs on my mk2 jetta gt and the driver side had a nice gap between the sidewall and the lip of the arch. When i fitted the passanger side the sidewall was touching the lip, i imetiatly thaght bent chassis but i put new tires on it a year ago and there is no unever wair!
Anyone have this problem or any advice help please.

The mk4 is renowned for having a wider track on the passenger side than the drivers side. I've heard that the axle can be manhandled over a little to balance out the difference, but I'm not 100% sure if it will work on a Mk2 as well

Mk2's always tend to have a difference, I believe you can shim the rear beam to sort it.
