Im guessing that its the generic term, used by bods not in the know, to describe the Red thats on Golf GTIs, bit like all Porsches are Guards red, when they're actually not
Other than that, I have no idea what you're on about :evil:

What I meant was, golf gti red looks like golf g(tired) to me. Like it's not a good thing, why advertise your car as subliminally tired!

No worries.
We all have crosses to bear. My cross is a subliminally tired GTi - and I actually quite like it. It takes all sorts...
Actually, there isn't much subliminal about it - it's VERY red.
