Title: Bottom hose

Hi all just replaced waterqq pump new thermostat and all the elbows filled it with water run it all the hoses are getting hot but abottom hose is taking about ten minutes to warm up and sometimes  with it standing running fan is coming on before hose is hot

Did you top the water back up after the first time you ran it with water in?

Yes it boiled over so topped up

Just so you know, if starting from cold it's normal that the bottom hose remains cold while the others heat it. It means the thermostat is doing it's job! When the water temp gets up to about 85c the bottom hose will start to warm up meaning the thermostat is starting to open. Don't go by the dash gauge, it's not very accurate as it reads temps of water in the cylinder head not at the water pump/thermostat area. I mean, it's accurate, but only for cylinder head.
