Title: fuel cap stoped working??

after my car come back from have the drivers side painted the other day i went to put fuel in and the flap wont open i took the carpet out the boot to have alook and all looked fine. so today i went to tps and bought a new motor fitted it and it is still the same. some times i get a small click sound at the motor in the boot i also had this sound with the old one!!!

i have had both motors out i.e not fitted and it dont seem to work any idea's ????

sorted the switch has gone just jumped a wire across the plugs and it works.
was working before going to the body shop and the place i took it have a golf they may swaped it with theres dirty f**ers
