Title: Custom Code remap

Hi all

Has anyone been running a custom code map on a 1.8t? Been doing some research on their maps and it's a bit hit and miss.... seen some report that the boost has been running at 22psi. Would this not put a lot of strain on the turbo etc?   :undecided:

Boost levels vary depending on lots of different factors, but 22 psi seems very high for a phase 1. Its possible there may have been hardware issues with the cars seeing those boost levels (N75 /Actuator). I've certainly not seen a phase 1 hit that sort of peak boost!

Thats what I thought tbh. Was just curious if anyone is running one on their motor or had experience with them? Think I'll be coming your way soon anyway Chris seemed to be a tight ship down midland VW
