Title: Alternator Upgrade

My alternator has broken again for the second time in a month so ive decided to upgrade from a 60 amp to a 90 amp. Do you think it would be worth while me upgrading the main power cable from the alternator to starter motor and battery to something thicker i.e 8 guage amp wire?

Yes I would, perhaps even go 4 awg if you have a nice stereo install. Also upgrade the engine earth and the battery earth to the same as you use for the alt to starter to battery power cable.
