Title: full milltek fitted but now poping ???

ive just had my milltek fitted along with a de-cat down pipe but now when i lift off the gas or change gear it pops and sounds like a back fire
is this because i now need a re-map??

when i had a anni style cat back  milltek system my popped , but now got a blue flame which sounds awesome compared to milltek

i still dont get pops with my decat and you can smell how rich it runs!!

Try tapping the throttle after you give it beans in 2nd to about 3500rpm.

Doing that in mine produced some rather huge flames.

Ha ha ok they have stopped selling them for a bit and will be back on in about 3 weeks when they get more from the supplier. I was gonna get work to order it and get it delivered there. Then I will fit it and the missus won't even notice ha ha  :grin:

that may be the problem iv got strait through custom from catback just back box pops like a beesh in 2nd gear its not constant but its quite regular  :wink:

no not yet mate just catback with stage 1 r-tech map got plenty of power for now gonna concerntrate on the paint looks etc  :smiley:

Nah no light on but apparently the d/p decat that I got was custom made so the second sensor was spaced so the light didn't come on

stage 1 map should see from 180-200 bhp thats if the engine etc is running as it should be
