hi guys, i have golf anniversary 16" bbs split rims on my mk3 golf, i want to get them refurbed and polished, is there anything i should know about taking them apart/putting back together as i have never had splitrims before?

use a little heat on the bolts before tryin to remove

when it comes to slit rims be very careful strippin them because u could snap bolts or f**k the heads of the bolts up also when it comes to refitting the face back on use a tap and tap every hole and wire brush the bolts , also use locktight and tighten them up opposite to oppisite if get me drift for example start with 12 oclcok then 6 then 3 then 9 and so on hope this helps if ou have any probs let me know

no problem also dont loose any of the bolts put them in a cup or something cuz there like rocking horse turd to get hold of
if you do bugger some up just buy a scrap wheel nd get them ot of that
