They have 215/40/16 tyres, and are on ebay at the moment. There should be a pic of the car below.
It's been lowered 40mm too, so I'm wondering if they'll rub. And anyone know if they would stick outwith the arches? Not really into that. If any one has a link to a pi of a mk2 with borbets, it'd be good to check it out.

They will rub, I run As on mine and have a wide arch kit and it still was a stuggle getting them under

Going to be a very tight fit, 195/40 tyres would help with clearance
-
Yeh, somebody sent me a pic of a mk2 with 16x9's on the front. Looks really really tight!
What about staggered then? With 16v7.5's on the front with 195's, and 16x9's on the rear with the 215's.
Anyone know have this on they're golf?
Want borbet A's, but I'm not going to touch the arches.
Cheeeeeeeeeers,
Nick

I used to have 16x7.5s on my mk2 and they had 205/45/16s and only rubbed on the back a little. As soon as I rolled and pulled my arches it was all gd

Did you roll and pull your arches yourself?
If so, how do?
