Title: 1.8 non turbo occasionally refuses to start????????????
Post by: BEELZEDUB on 08 May 2012, 20:08
my car has just started to refuse to start if it has been driven for about minimum of 10-15mins then left for about 30mins to 2hours.
it will just turn over and not fire, but will very easily bump start (like a push for a couple of feet) if driven home from work and left over night then it will start fine or the same as driving to work and then leaving work it wioll be fine.

someone has mentioned crank sensor, but can't understand how it would bump start instead of firing on key.

any ideas welcome.
