Title: Wheel fitment question
Post by: magsmagsmags on 08 May 2012, 01:54
Hello
Hopefully buying a MK5 GTI this week and already looking at wheels as you do.
What's the fitment like on the mk5, my mk4 is farely forgiving.

The wheels i'm looking at are are 8.5 on the fronts, 9.5 on the rears with an ET of 45
Anyone had this set up / got anything similar?

Thanks

35 offset would be better, 45 will be close to the shocks.

I don't think you can do 9.5" on the rear.
Though maybe with stock height and stretched tires?!

I wouldn't buy that combo unless somebody can vouch for it.
