Right then
Took my car to a mechanic whom I've used for the past few years to have the wishbone bushes replaced on my Vr6.Got a call from him saying the bolt which he had to undo from the sub-frame had sheared of and cannot be replaced or drilled out.So this means replacing the whole sub-frame at a cost of £236 just for the sub-frame (main stealer part only) + Labour.
Is there a way round this or is he right in saying the sub frame needs replacing.
I'm thinking the bolt could be drilled out and re-tapped or am i just hoping.
I'm not mechanically minded so any good advice will help me out here
