Title: MK4 standard radio - irritating auto volume adjustment. How to stop it?

Get faster, volume goes up. Go slower, volume goes down.

What ever happened to using the dials with your hand? Bloody irritating.

How do you stop it?

& while we're on the topic, how do you stop traffic announcements? My brother was meddling with the standard radio & now can't get the T.A off. It's the volume one that's most annoying though.
