hello all!
my recently purchased 1.8T was, i thought completely standard. but it appears it has a re-circulating valve on it. i have no receipts, and it has absolutely no markings on it. all i can say is i can move the plate with reasonable force with my small finger.
i was looking to buy a forge 007 before my trip to r-tech
if anyone can identify the part it would make my day
Paul

Its the same one I have
30ish nicker off the bay comes with 3 different spring ratings, good bit of kit
-
That's r-spec dv had one on my previous 1.8t and did come with blue, yellow and red I think springs was ok. R-spec sell a lot of engine stuff.
-
if it does the job whats the point in changing it its gonna be better than the standard plastic one without a doubt
-
You should let fred live on

will i honestly see a difference moving to a forge 007p?
-
only if the one you have is borked. push the piston up and put your finger over the small vac nipple on the top. it should hold some pressure then snap shut when you take your finger off. even if it doesn't do that it may just need servicing/re-greasing.

Likes been said if the.diaphragm and spring in the.valve are ok you'd be wasting your money.
The duty of a recirc valve is so simple, your just paying for the brand
