Ok so the gti been in the garage for about 8 months now and moved house over the weekend so decided to bring it over late last night, bigger garage more space so hopfuly can start giving it its much needed make over (ie) coillies, milltec with decat, New front wings maybe new sills, brakes, seats and a bloody good going over.

Did the front brakes last night and removed drivers wing, need to find some road legal frames and runners for the seats as there on vectra ones at the min and the rest will be done bit by bit main aim is to be ready for run to the sun next year as have 3 kids and time to do everything does not seam to excist. :shocked:
So as for being stood and only started once a month is was ok bit chocked up and lumpy but couple of moments she was running real sweet, so over all pretty pleased. Also could do with some advise on chequerd vilal for the roof as it has laquar peal am thinking local sign company or gaybay just not sure if I want the hassle of doing it myself can't decide on that one.
Will be looking to paint the rest of the car as well some time and not the best with paint so if anyone wants to help or knows anyone in the Cornwall area who would be up for doing it kinda cheap that would be awsome.
Will start a project thread soon as lots of work to be done

I would go with a local sign company, thats what I did with mine.
