Title: H7 Xenon mega white 12v/55w bright headlight bulbs fitted-help please!
Post by: jnielow on 06 May 2012, 21:04
Dear All,

I bought a set of the above bulbs and fitted them yesterday to the mk4. Drove home from friends last night and my headlights seemed really bright hence the 50% brighter than standard bulbs E4 approved. Got them off ebay so I guess they must be legal? (Silly question I know!). The reason I asked is it think I got a flash from a driver coming in the opposite direction who maybe thought I had my full beam on other drivers went past with no reaction.

I know the lights are working ie the dial with the settings 1,2,3 which raises the lights.

I just need to know that the bulbs are legal and I wont get pulled by police or worse cause someone to possibly crash! (they are not dazzling just bright!)

Any help would be welcomed!

Thanks

Jason

Things sold on ebay aren't always legal. Think about how many fake items of clothing are sold on there...

Linky to the ones you bought.... :lipsrsealed:
