Title: MK2 nearly all back together
Post by: dubvrs on 06 June 2005, 20:41
My daily driver is now on the road and just needs the interior sorting now.

Couple of new pics.

Carpets back in at last and mounts for lower part of new rear seat in place.

Lower seat parts mounted and fitted.

Trial fitted rest of skoda octavia rear seat to see how it fit's. Still need to make mounts and sort out the fronts. Corrado seats put in until i have a go at installing the skoda front seats.

That looks really nice mate, I hope you don't mind me asking a couple of questions though.
I can see you've got Crystal headlights, are the front indicators/side repeaters and rear lights (top of) all Crystal as well?

How did you remove the black tape down the sides and around the rear windscreen? I'm assuming a hair dryer may do the job to soften the glue and then just peel it off and polish the residue off?

Looks a totaly different car now tobz from when i purchased it from you

Still loads to do on it but hopefully the vrs will be gone in a month or two but looking for a 3dr mk2 now to put a vr6 or 20vt in as my next project.

j-s, All the lights are crystal. The car didn't have the black tape around the rear window but a hair dryer is the best thing realy.
