I use vpower and get 500+ miles from a tank on mainly shortish runs

I always try to use Vpower where ever possible. Get over 550+ to a tank with mostly Mway driving. It is much better for your engine, full of lovely additives.

i know a little about diesels but only a little. how can a 'v power' diesel be more benefcial than normal dirty derv? i know obviously with petrol and higher octane rating means less chance of detonation and adnances ignition timming...

There is a good link as to why V power fuels are better. As I said with the additives, I think this is the main thing. Makes for a healthier car I guess. Plus makes me go further!

My Golf used to smoke a lot less on the premium diesel fuel.  I tried supermarket stuff once and got lost in my own smog

Premium diesel fuel has more additives so as to help keep the inside of your engine lovely and clean.  Another way is to buy Forte Diesel Treatment and add that every few fill ups
