hi everyone got some news from the missus that she is pregnant brilliant i thought but then i have a problem i have a cabriolet with the lap belts in the back and i already have a 2 1/2 year old boy are there any car seats out there for a child in a group 2 category (the chunky gits the size of a 5 year old) which are designed for a lap belt as other wise i have to sell my baby (the golf not me kids)

i know there is but i would invest in the 3 point system from crazy cruiffs..

There was a guy at last year's VW Festival in Leeds that fabricated his own 3 point belts. American spec clippers have proper rear seatbelts but uk and Europe only got lap belts.

I would say any decent fabricator should be able to make the required bracket to hold any standard self coiling belt for less than a ton
