Right found a new scrappy today which im over the moon about its vw heaven
I got the following but can you guess how much
2 headrests
MINT armrest
Both handbrake and gear knob consoles also vgc
1 mint drivers side bora vent
1 mint pass side bora vent but has brocken slats
And £2.10 in change lol
What you reckon? his words were "ummm you can have the lot for £.. ! Does that sound reasonable enough for you young man as you do have 2 headrests there" at which point i pulled out all my cash and snapped his hand off ..... Not literally
Can bora vents be fixed ?

Bora vents cannot be fixed though.

and they proberby can be fixed if your handy, but you cant buy kits to fix them, and easier just to look out for a not broken one

Scrappies dont do change lol only notes ! £20 :laugh: im not to fussed about the broken vent as the casings mint so if i find a scratch up one then itl come in handy.... I was expect to bargain him down to 50!!
He told me theres a gti coming in later this afternoon and im praying its an anniversary ! But even if its not he said its £100 quid for any alloys down there so il be grabbing the monty 2s and a recaro headrest and what ever other goodies are on it the big IF it is a anni im gunna be armed with some dollar to raid it ! Anyone locsl to southampton/pompey with a big van as my astra cant fit alot in it ?

I was gutted when i got there cause i went for the bora i even phoned and asked if all the vents were there and if it had a armrest ! Looked in it armrest had been ripped off and it was fooked no center vent pass side was nakerd only good thing was the drivers side. Then had a little mooch and came accross a mint 1.6 with just a smashed windscreen had a look inside and there was a perfect armrest well the whole interior was scratchless compared to mine so i carefully took out the consoles and armrest literally when i was packing up i remembered i needed a headrest and noticed the was a gti so i took them out aswell woulda loved all the vents to be intact though !
Ive already fitted everything fixed the vent in the closed position and retrimmed the armrest in the recaro type material from one of the headrests :grin:
