My Galaxy S2 was working fine with VW Premium Bluetooth.. just upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich on S2 and it no longer connects... seem to be a lot of bluetooth issues with ICS. Might have to flash the S2 back to previous version. Anyone else any experience of this ?

I'm running Cyanogenmod 9 (ICS) on my GS2 and it connects fine and works as it should

I have upgraded my HTC Sensation to ICS and all works fine on O2.
My mate is on Vodafone and after the ICS update his HTC Sensation doesn't work.
It connects but won't read the phonebook.

Have you given your phone permission to upload phonebook to VWPHONE ?

I hadn't - but then the phone book never worked before the upgrade. But at least it connected every time unlike Blackberry which failed to connect many times.

After many hours googling...
ICS does not include rSAP support.
Newer VW Bluetooth kits support rSAP and HFP (I think) - if you switch to HFP it should work. However older VW Premium Bluetooth kits (like mine - 59 reg) only support rSAP.
2 choices :-1
1. Downgrade my S2 to previous version of Android (Gingerbread I think)
2. Buy an rSAP application from Marketplace (£8)
I did option 2 - you have to "root" the phone first and then you can install this app. Either option involves downloading utilities and images from t'internet - don't go there if you are not comfortable doing this stuff !
I found option 2 on the skoda forum, link http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/234323-rsap-support-with-ice-cream-sandwich/ (http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/234323-rsap-support-with-ice-cream-sandwich/)
All working perfectly now.

Maybe try deleting the connection in the car and re-creating it.
