Title: New genuine alternator, how much?
Post by: walchy01 on 04 May 2012, 20:13
Evening all

Slowly replacing bits as and when, anyone tell me if I can still buy a genuine alternator from the stealers first of all? Secondly if you had the choice would you refurb or replace? Happy to spend the money as I love my 16v

Thanks

Walchy

Stupid money from the dealer like £330. I got mine from GSF on exchange for £95 - Bosch. Spot on  but a couple of years back.

I'd get one off an audi 80. They are 90A alternators.

£25 second hand.
