Ditto. They do seem to go fairly cheap on ebay. MK6 gti one would be lovely or Audi one with a flat bottom

-
whats the condition of the the s3 wheel like as mine is pretty bad
-
to be fair mate is in very good condition it will cost you more than 65 to have one trimmed mate easily
-
I've looked into this recently and looking at around £120 to get a steering wheel re trimmed as its all hand stitched and takes time, vrs wheels go for about £80 on eBay same as anni but without the red stitching
You can pick up a decent condition 3 spoke gti wheel for around £30 or a mk1 tt wheel, same as the s3 wheel but without the little metal badge at the bottom
-
yeah i been looking at second hand but just wanted it to be brand new
-
I was gonna have a crack at retrimming one myself but ended up send the money on coilovers instead
-
 i was thinking of asking my mother she is a dab hand with the sewing

Cully I've got a vrs wheel & it's better than standard but not as good as I was hoping for, I joined a skoda forum & got it for £50 posted, immaculate condition.
Anyone know if the people that retrim them can put finger grooves in to the wheel?

How bad are the leather steering wheels you guys have?
-
well mine is 14 years old so take a guess its just worn on the top and starting to discolour
-
You know leather can be restored right? I refurbed one in VR6 I had looked like new
-
iv seen a few posts that ppl have had theirs done and tbh they have said it dont last very long so its a bit of false economy to me
-
If you need help or advice drop me a PM mate, in the meantime I'll try find some pics off my external drive
