Title: advice on buying a gti turbo needed
Post by: mr mk2 on 03 May 2012, 18:18: Hi all, well as it sez above I need some buying advice on a gti im thinking of getting ive been told it needs a n75 valve because its not boosting but having never owned 1 or worked on 1 im not sure if this is even anything to do with it not boosting, also could some 1 tell me where I can find the engine code on it please and what else I should look out for.

Post by: cullygti on 03 May 2012, 19:38: engine code will be on a sticker in the boot or take engine cover off and there will be a white sticker on there with it on and it will be stamped on the block at the front with it on :smiley:

Yes also check that the cambelt and waterpump have been replaced.

:shocked: 1k for a turbo. Must have gold internals :grin:

Post by: The Dave on 07 May 2012, 12:04: Honda parts are ridiculous, I drive an EP3 Type R now lol but notalots broke just my window mech on drivers side.. 180 quid from main dealer for new one!!!!!!!!! :angry:
