1.6 cl golf mk3 keep cutting out when you drive and stop engine know that it could be its doing my nut in help me thank

do you mean it drives ok but when you stop it cuts out?
if so does it do it more when the car is warmed up to running temp?

right ok so it starts but the engine cuts out when driving?

what is the normal situation when it cuts out?

It got a new idle in it goes up and down on idle then rev up on its own and cuts on idle but I am driving it mate it just shut down then it takes along time two restart the car mate

so the car is running fine but the engine cuts out when you are driving or when you drop to idle ? because you say engine is cutting out when you "drive and stop engine" doesn't quite make sense i think i know what you mean does it cut out cleanly or does it splutter then die ?

ok im gona say you need a new coil as from what i can gather from what you have said.

and you say it tries to rev up by its self ? first off we are going to need your engine code as there is big difference between the A series short block engine and a the tall block cross flow also if its the short block is it single or multi point as they all have different engine management systems

hi mate. Just abit of advise, you need to be clear about what your writing. As to you it might make sense but to others it wont. other wise you will get hammed for you writing! Lol seems like its the throttle body (if it has one) just needs cleaning out as it might be gunked up with sooth and other oil deposits. I normaly use carb cleaner. Give that a shot bud :wink:
