Title: Boost gauge hose

I bought some washer hose from halfords for my boost gauge as the one that came with it wasn't long enough. Is it is ok to use halfords washer hose, or will it split and crack?

You would be better with silicone hose tbh.

They do other colours as well.

Thanks guys, the hose that came with the gauge looks and feels more or less the same as the washer hose from Halfords, that's why I thought it would be ok to use  :undecided:

I guess it will be ok but I prefer silicone hose tbh.

Could you or anyone else tell me if the grommet to feed the hose through is next to a white box underneath the scuttle panel on the drivers side that already has a black cable going down into it which comes from the side of the bonnet.

Ive seen loads of boost gauges with what looks like washer fluid tubing in it.
