Been a long time since I posted here. Had a MKV GTi, 2.0 GT Roc, N55 135 and just got an edition 35. Simply love the edition 35. Will post some pics later today.
Anyway took the 35 to the track on the weekend and it ran a 12.6 1/4 mile. Mods are intake, exhaust, hpfp, wmi and APR software. Has anyone here taken their ed35 to the track as yet?

Hi there is your car dsg? Also what fuel pump are u running. Planning on a few track days myself later in year

Hi, my car is DSG. I ran 95 octane/US 91 octane equivalent.
-
Welcome back, yeah get those pics up!
-
That's a pretty quick time. Quickest I've had is a 13.6 with a standard GTI and a remap. Looking forward to some pics
-
Here is a vid of the run, first run is a friend with an APR tuned stock turbo GTi. Enjoy.

Running an ITG intake.
-
Cool do u have to remove engine cover ?
-
As far as I'm aware Revo don't do air intakes? They probably sell another manufacturer's intake via their website (for example APR advertised the "APR intake system" which was actually the Carbonio system with an APR sticker on it.

APR now has rights for ITG which is part of VW Racing and can only be bought through them.

Ah, well in that case Revo may in fact be Carbonion
-
Trust me revo have sum bad ass filters coming soon
-
In keeping with VW tradition I decided to go for a set of 19inch BBS wheels. BBS+VW=WIN

Best looking gti one here......those wheels with that colour car! Take a bow

Those wheels look quality. They should look at something like that for the MK7 GTI.
-
Simply stunning mate !

Thanks guys, I will be doing a complete shoot soon with some interior shots which have the honeycomb seats with the 35 logos on them

Looking at it from the side it needs the rear tints to really set it off for me.
-
Lets see those interior shots
-
And if your selling the seats...PM me....
-
That looks epic mate, proper stunner you have there...must agree tho the back & rear windows need tinting to set it off, I thort they came as std on the ED35's
Yeah get those interior pics up, your have fellow ED35er's screaming LOL!
Where are you based fella? Only ask cus you clearly haven't got the UK spec ED35...
-
I'm asking around the dealers outside the UK for the ED seats with the logos...group buy ED fans...
-
Oh yeah and it's got the right number of doors
-
He is based in South Africa, lucky sod

Very nice.....interior interior
-
Very nice, one of my fav colours for the mk6.
Did not realise until today that the ed35 got 90% rear tints compared to the GTI only 65%
-
Looks brilliant. Definitely my favourite colour
Also really like the proportion of the exhaust tailpipes. Personally I think the standard tailpipes are a bit on the small side. Yours look purposeful but not too big - spot on I reckon!

Nice, but imo I prefer the leather...

Nice, but imo I prefer the leather...
Leather on the 35 is the same as a stock G6 GTi, no red stitching or 35 logos
-
stunning car MJP it looks great in the red (a close second for me) and i love the 35 interior, can't fail with bbs and i'd love to see some red centre caps
-
Dribble
-
Love the interior, wish VW UK had this as STD. Leather is not a problem for me but would have preferred the ED35 special, in line with the ED30 which I loved.
-
I have to say, I do prefer the tartan seats to the Edition 35 (leather or not) options. But other than that the car looks absolutely brilliant.
-
Lovely looking car and the wheels are a great choice
-
me too like the 35 on the seats....

I like the fact that they have the 35 logo but don't like the seats, personally i wud prefer the std leather with 35 logo on them, this is only my opinion of course and it isn't in no way a dig...if you get what i mean LOL
-
That's one nice car! I'm not a fan of full leather seats but really like those 1/2 leather seats. Love the wheels too!

Thanks guys, got a few more mods planned for the car. I have changed the under drive pulley as well which made the car rev up much quicker and feels effortless when revving up.
